If you are going to get decadent then there is no better example to follow than that of the French. Especially when it comes to food and cakes. French Butter Cream is very special. Thick and velvety in texture, smooth as a baby’s bottom and beautiful golden yellow in colour. You can’t miss it. It contains raw eggs (from which is how it gets its amazing golden hue) and can be quite technical so this recipe may not be for everyone. But it is definitely worth the time and effort. People will notice you went the extra mile with your frosting.
